JL Doxies LLC started from the love on one lonely little longhaired dachshund in the 1990's that no one wanted at a pet store because he had a bent tail. He came home with Liz and the rest is history. Liz shared her love with Jeff and he got addicted to dachshunds also.
We breed our dogs sparingly as we are not in this for a business. We may only have one to three litters a year.
Our goal is to provide a happy, healthy, well socialized puppies to a forever home. We feel that the welfare of our puppies is of the utmost importance. Therefore, we strive to match the perfect puppy to the perfect home. Please don't be offended if we ask you a lot of questions. We want to make sure that the person / family is serious about the commitment they are about to undertake with a puppy.
We will ask for references and generally will ask for a face to face interview either in person or by video conference prior to selling a puppy.
If for some reason the new owner is unable to keep his/her puppy, we will happily take them back. We strive to have well mannered Mini Dachshunds with the best temperaments, pedigree, and health in the colors that we love.
